Overview
Everyone enrolled in Dutch MBO-BOL (school-based secondary vocational education) or full-time VAVO (secondary education for adults) and aged 18 or over on 1 August 2023, must pay course fees for the 2023-2024 school year. The request for payment will be sent in the middle of September. This does not apply to regular secondary education and private VAVO programmes.
Payment in instalments possible
- The course fees for the 2023-2024 academic year are €1,357.
- Payment is through Mijn DUO. You can pay the full amount all at once or in 9 instalments .
- Did you pay the 2022-2023 course fees in 9 instalments from your own bank account? Then you will automatically pay the 2023-2024 fees in instalments as well. You don't need to take any action for this.
Disenrolled or enrolled later?
Course fees are calculated on the basis of your enrolment. If you started later on in the academic year, you may be charged lower course fees. If you terminated your enrolment early, you may be eligible for a refund.
