Schools receive extra funding for pupils with specific educational needs. One school on Bonaire receives a fixed sum for this purpose. Schools on the islands of Sint Eustatius and Saba receive a percentage of the basic funding.

Schools in Sint Eustatius and Saba receive extra funding because of the high level of costs on the islands. This extra funding is made up of a percentage of the total sum of basic funding and extra funding for pupils with specific educational needs.

Isolated location

If a Public Entity has only 1 school, that school will receive extra funding. This is a fixed sum.
