Subsidy for teacher scholarship and study leave
Licensed teachers can further improve their professional skills by taking an hbo (college) or university study programme. Teachers can receive a grant for this purpose. And employers can receive subsidy for the study leave taken by teachers.
Apply for subsidy
- Teachers must request an application form for both subsidies by sending an email to lerarenbeurs@duo.nl.
- The filled in form must be sent to lerarenbeurs@duo.nl and Juliska.vanRossum@rijksdienstcn.com.
Payment of study leave
The school board receives the subsidy before the start of the study programme. The amount is for 1 year of study. Teachers must re-apply each year, before the start of that year’s study.
